Who do you love?
Who loves you?
What do you love to do?
Is it possible to love everyone?
What would our world be like if everyone loved each other?
The most important value that we read about in the Bible is love.
All of the other Christian values demonstrate love in action.
Love is described in detail in the Bible.
In the Bible we are told that God loves us very much.
It says we can't escape from God's love.
It is everywhere and always there!
Jesus teaches us to love one another.

This half term we are also going to focus on an overarching value:
What is 'community'?
(Noun)
A group of people living in the same place or having particular characteristics in common.
example: London's Hindu community.
The condition of sharing or having certain attitudes and interests in common.
example: The sense of community that organised religion can provide.
Have a think...
Which communities do you belong to?
Is our school a community?
If so, what makes Higham St. John's a community?
How does it feel to be part of a community?
Think about our school motto 'One school family rooted in God's love.'
What does this say about our school community?
In the Bible, St. Paul tells the early church to live well together,
agreeing with each other and not falling out!
Linking to our other focus value, love, St. Paul also said we should look
after one another and put others needs before our own.
